Danny Ellis is based in Melton,
Victoria.
Danny began his training as a Linotype
Mechanic in 1972 and worked at The Age newspaper in the role until 1983.
He has worked on Intertype C4s, Monarchs and C4 with TTS modification.
After
later years as a locomotive train driver, Danny is revisiting his rare
trade.
Enquiries from individuals and heritage printing museums for Danny’s
linecasting mechanical skills are welcome. Though based in Melton, he is a
willing traveller for a tryst with a beautiful machine.
