Ross is a traditional
golf club maker. He makes Wooden Clubs and Hand Forge Iron Clubs using the
traditional tools and skills of the golf club makers of the 1800's.
Ross makes all his clubs
by hand. Each is unique in wood grain, head shape and weight etc. For the
wooden clubs, he looks for bent tree limbs or roots to make the heads. The bend
gives the head its strength. Irons are hand forged, using the same sorts of
tools and skills as the early Blacksmiths.
All the clubs Ross makes are
unique in wood grain, head shape and weight etc. He marks all his work with his
name, date made, and types of timber used.
