The project is listening to our rare trades, and gathering real information from us to learn more about how the project can support our sector. the Heritage Skills Initiative is based in Carlton, Victoria. 

The Heritage Skills Initiative is an International Specialised Skills Institute project that supports the use of heritage trades within the Australian workforce. 

INSITE magazine feature

In 2014, the fledgling Rare Trades directory was asked to present an article in the Museums Australia (Victoria branch) magazine, INSITE. It was a great opportunity to help connect museum-goers with rare trades, and reveal museum collections as living proof of oldeschool workmanship quality.
