The International Specialized Skills Institute is a non-profit organisation that provides overseas Fellowships for Australians to increase their knowledge and skills across a variety of industries and traditional trades.
This knowledge is dispersed through reports and passed onto industry leaders and institutions to create a better skilled Australia.
Founded over 25 years ago by Sir James Gobbo AC CVO QC, former Governor of Victoria, the ISS Institute has always held a deep interest in fostering the continued practice of lost and rare artisan trades through international research Fellowships.
